World Flora Fauna

WORLD-WIDE PROGRAM Especially protected natural territories of Fund World Flora Fauna.

Slogan of the Program: “Lets Save the green planet Earth!”

WFF is an International Award Program (an International ecologo-edicational and nature conservation action on supporting of protected areas), organized to attract attention of the world community to the problems of protected areas, to provide them with feasible practical support, to waken a feeling of pride in the minds of the Earth’s inhabitants for natural and cultural heritage, for visiting National Parks and Nature Reserves and making QSO contacts with them.

The Program was launched in 2008 under the auspices of International  Foundation World Flora Fauna and RRC. For you to get a WFF Award you need to contact locations possessing an official status of National Parks or Nature Reserves listed in the WFF Program.

HOW CAN YOU LEARN FROM WHICH LOCATION A RADIO STATION WORKED?

In the WFF Directory you have a list from WFF Database of National Parks and Nature Reserves throughout the world. Also, during a QSO each of the countries provides a symbol, for example: FF-01, FF-02, FF-03, which corresponds to certain National Park or Nature Reserve. Moreover, the Internet site  contains a DataBase (which is currently being filled up) that has an indication from which location one or another station works. We welcome any help possible in WFF DataBase formation based on the past experience of work valid for the WFF Programme.

SYSTEM OF OBTAINING THE WFF RATING

Every National Park of Nature Reserve listed for WFF List is considered for rating only once irrespective of the operating mode or the band.

HOW TO RECEIVE THE AWARD?

The Basic Award of the WFF Program is the WFF Award. The Application may be submitted both by the e-mail and by a hard copy. To get the Award one should submit original QSLs or copies for all the claimed QSOs or an abstract from the digital log of the expedition if it is announced to be an open origin in the WFF Program. They can be verified with the Regional Award Manager of the WFF Programme or with the Authorized Representative of the WFF program who have the right to check point the WFF Award Applications.
