WFF Appeal on the Planet, Nature and Man. (by G.F. Frantov, Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences)

To comprehend the rights of future generations on wildlife management and according to V.I.Vernadsky’s precept we make an appeal on necessity of preserving the Earth Planet and its all constituents: Ionosphere, Hydrosphere, Atmosphere, Biosphere, Geosphere, the Man and his Communities, Plants and Animals. Noosphere and the sites created by Man are of a special importance.

There is a necessity of legal regulation of relations of the Man and balancing components not to render any damage to the Planet, the Nature and the Man.

There are laws on the Earth interior, minerals, fauna and flora preservation. There are also laws on preservation of cultural heritage. The laws must ensure a dynamic balance in nature and society.

The science has helped us to study the structure of the Earth and to pay attention to the fact that there is much we do not understand in the arrangement and the system of functioning of the Planet.

Physics and chemists have established the character of the physical and the chemical fields in which the Man lives and they do not recommend making an essential interference by some artificial sources which can provide an adverse action. The scientists consider the necessary of further observation of the Planet state by all available means of control including preservation of the Nature sites for the scientific purposes.

The knowledge should not harm to the Planet and the Man. The history of science and technology matters much for formation of optimal world outlook of future generations. It is necessary to take active measures to not lose the intellectual historical values.

Our message is:

1. Comprehend the unique creations of the Earth – mountains, rocks, deposits, flora and fauna and even physical fields, which should serve to satisfy material and spiritual needs of people, but also consider the right of the following generations to manage nature.

2. Man is the supreme value of the Nature. The highest value of the Planet is the health of the Man, which should exist millions of years.

3. Lack of understanding in the Planet’s processes of functioning, and as a result the chance to damage the unknown mechanisms of the Man’s activity, may lead to adverse consequences. They require a very intensive study of the Planet.

Every person on the Planet should take a good care of the Nature and its components and preserve them for scientific understanding by existing and future generations. The WFF Appeal calls to define behavior of the Man in the world of nature as a contact of a wise who understands the balance and the laws, and who can utilize nature to mutual benefit.
